The North American University men's and women's basketball programs participated in a community outreach initiative across the Richmond, Stafford, and Houston areas. Both teams, along with their coaching staff, visited 87 businesses to introduce themselves, share sponsorship opportunities, and invite local organizations to attend upcoming home games.

During the visits, student-athletes represented North American University in a professional and positive manner while engaging with a variety of local and national businesses. The outreach served as both a community relations effort and a team-building activity for the basketball programs.

Businesses visited included Bombshells, Lazy Dog, Pluckers, In-N-Out, Outback Steakhouse, Whiskey Café, Portillo's, Tiffi Treats, Torchy's Tacos, Burger King, Fajita Grill, Orthopedic Center, DD's Discounts, Cici's Pizza, Brand Marcia, Starbucks, Luna Furniture, GameStop, McAlister's Deli, Snooze A.M. Eatery, Whiskey Cake, Verizon, Aga's Restaurant, Active Athlete, Great Clips, CAVA, Five Guys, Black Rock Coffee Bar, Stanton Lenses, Carter's Place, IHOP, Pappadeaux, Hooters, Mayito's, Spirit Halloween, Main Event, Hibbett Sports, AMC Theatres, Subway, Mattress Firm, Fire Department, Brewski's, Pump It Up, Jack in the Box, Chick-fil-A, Waffle House, FabSmiles Dentistry, Champs, Foot Locker, Zumiez, Vans, Target, Walmart, Legacy Church, Dhanani Private Equity Group, Costco, Raising Cane's, TownePlace Suites by Marriott – Stafford/Sugar Land, Coach, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Hot Topic, Wetzel's Pretzels, Hollister, JD Sports, Tilly's, Pacsun, Build-A-Bear, Michael Kors, Pandora, Chipotle, Dick's Sporting Goods, Record Store, Lush, Guess, and additional locations throughout the area.

The basketball teams plan to continue building relationships with community partners throughout the season as they prepare for their upcoming home games.
