Kerrville, TX (September 5, 2025) – The North American University Lady Stallions ran into a relentless Schreiner University squad on Friday afternoon, dropping an 8-0 decision in non-conference action.

From the opening whistle, the Mountaineers controlled possession and applied pressure high up the field. Schreiner broke through in the 8th minute when Abigail Scott scored off a pass from Sarada Farneti. The Mountaineers kept their foot on the gas, adding three more goals in the first half and carrying a 4-0 lead into the break.

Despite the scoreline, Stallions goalkeeper Arely Sarabia stood tall under fire, recording 10 saves on 18 shots on goal. The Lady Stallions' best attacking looks came from Leslie Moreno, who registered the team's lone shot on goal, along with chances from Genevieve Colon and Suzette Baltazar.

The second half mirrored the first as Schreiner continued to find space in transition and converted four more times, sealing the 8-0 result.

Head Coach acknowledged the tough outing but pointed to the value of the experience:

"Games like this test our resolve. We're building a foundation with young players, and these lessons are only going to make us stronger as we continue our season," the coach said.

The Lady Stallions (0-3-0) now turn their focus to upcoming conference play, looking to regroup and bounce back with urgency.
