About Coach White
A Dallas, Texas native with a deep-rooted faith, Coach JaQuia White brings excellence, discipline, and a ministry-minded approach to her coaching role at North American University. Raised in church and still grounded in her spiritual walk, she credits God for every opportunity and accomplishment in her life.
Now entering her third season with the Stallions, Coach White has already made history as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach and now as Director of Basketball Operations for both men’s and women’s basketball. She played a vital role in transforming the women’s program, delivering a 12-game improvement during her debut 2023–2024 season and finishing 13–15 overall with a Top 4 finish in the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC). That year, Keiarra Rivers was named 2nd Team All-RRAC and top drafted top 10 in the Euro Women's Basketball draft under Coach White’s leadership.
In 2024–2025, the Stallions made history again—winning the USCAA National Championship and producing three USCAA All-Americans:

Academic & Collegiate Athletic Background
Coach White is a proud graduate of DeSoto High School and began her college basketball career on a full athletic scholarship at Southern Methodist University (SMU). During her four-year career as a letterwinner with SMU Women’s Basketball, she also became a campus leader, serving in the following roles:

She graduated from SMU in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communication and Public Affairs and a minor in Women and Gender Studies.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, the NCAA granted athletes an extra year of eligibility. Coach White used that opportunity to pursue her master’s degree while playing her final collegiate season on a full athletic scholarship at Oklahoma Christian University, where she earned a Master of Arts in Global Leadership in May 2023.
Coach JaQuia White continues to set the standard for leadership, development, and God-led excellence at North American University. Her faith-first coaching philosophy, attention to detail, and player development expertise make her a rising star in collegiate athletics.
