North American University

Nickson Bess begins his first season as an Assistant Coach for the North American University Men’s Basketball program. A four-year collegiate player, Bess brings firsthand experience and leadership to the Stallions coaching staff. In his third year, he earned Second Team All-Conference honors while averaging 13 points and 8 rebounds per game and set a school single-game scoring record with 33 points. His year prior he competed in JUCO for two years, making a conference championship appearance as a starter in that 2nd year. 

Bess holds an Associate of Science degree and is completing his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting (2027). His faith serves as his foundation and motivation, and he enjoys serving others, volunteering, fishing, and spending time with his wife and family. He looks forward to using his experience to positively impact the next generation of Stallions.
