On Saturday Feb. 25, 2023 the NAU men took on JMU in a great game of basketball. The Stallions took an early lead with
Jordan Chambers-Harris hitting two quick threes and the young men were off and running with there trade mark D and 3 style of play.
Kiante Kizzie hit 2 from behind the line and 4 from the charity stripe, finishing the game with 14 points and two steals. The team had a total of 10 steals and 3 blocks showing that defense still can win the game. Chambers-Harris also finished with 14 points with a 5 for 5 shooting night with 3 assists.
Jalon Clark played 39mins and showed is drive to always put pressure on the team of John Melvin University. 20 Points, 6 Reb., 5Ast is how Mr. Clark finished while showing leadership and commitment to defense with 2Stl. and 1 block.
Our team had a total of 29 points scored off of turn overs and shared the ball 24 times, proving that the new style of play works. We only had 6 turnovers and John Melvin never scored on a single one. With a great showing of discipline and team pride from our bench by also adding 34 points. The Stallions were dominating them at every chance we could get, great job and form from our student athletes.
