Location: Tyler, Texas

In a rodeo matchup between the Lady Stallions of North American University and the Lady Steers of Texas College, the Lady Stallions showcased their resilience and depth to secure a commanding victory with a final score of 78-65.

The game started with Texas College taking an early lead, capitalizing on the impressive point guard play of Cree "Mighty Mouse" McLemore, who effectively distributed the ball to her teammates in the paint. However, foul trouble plagued McLemore, allowing North American's Victoria Moore to assert herself defensively, drawing charges and disrupting Texas College's rhythm.

Despite Texas College's strong start, North American remained undeterred, relying on their trademark strength of playing all four quarters to claw their way back into contention. Led by Moore, aptly dubbed "the Point Goddess," North American orchestrated a comeback, utilizing her driving ability to create scoring opportunities for herself and her teammates.

The pivotal third quarter saw North American outscore Texas College 17-5, establishing their dominance on both ends of the court. Coach Jamal Evans' squad, notorious for their fourth-quarter prowess, found themselves stifled by North American's suffocating defense, unable to mount a comeback.

In the final quarter, the Lady Stallions put on a shooting clinic, converting an impressive 81.8% of their field goals while controlling the boards and distributing the ball effectively. With stellar performances from Moore, Keiarra Rivers, and Desiree Rogers, North American sealed the victory in style.

Despite Texas College's efforts, highlighted by McLemore, Aliyah Solis, and Te'Aire Hambrick, North American's defensive intensity and offensive firepower proved too much to handle.

Individual standout performances included Moore's 25 points and 9 assists, Rivers' all-around contribution with 22 points, and Rogers' dominance on the boards with 13 rebounds. Additionally, newcomer Taylor Brokenberry showcased her potential with 8 points and 5 rebounds, contributing to North American's impressive team effort.

Special recognition was extended to Texas College for their exemplary sportsmanship and hospitality, setting a commendable standard for collegiate athletics. Fans were invited to relive the excitement of the game through provided links:
