Dallas, Texas — The Stallions continue to stamp their identity as one of the toughest defensive units in the early season, defeating Paul Quinn College 63–52 to remain unbeaten at 3–0.
It wasn't the prettiest offensive night, but it was a statement in resilience and rebounding. Jamarric Hammond led the way with a double-double performance of 18 points and 10 rebounds, owning the paint and setting the tone inside. Naheim Northern added 12 points and 7 boards, while Joseph Cormier chipped in 9 points and 6 rebounds with steady play on both ends.
Syncere L. Shaw brought instant energy off the bench, contributing 9 points and 3 steals, while Tevin Gowens acted as the floor's traffic controller with 5 assists and leadership from the guard spot.
The Stallions won the battle on the glass 42–42 (with key second-chance rebounds) and held Paul Quinn to just 30.9% shooting from the field. Their balanced attack and unselfish ball movement kept control of the game from start to finish, outscoring the Tigers in both halves.
Final: North American 63, Paul Quinn 52
Three games in — three solid wins. The Stallions are showing that toughness, teamwork, and trust travel well.
