Box Score BREAKING: LADY STALLIONS RETURN AS NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!
Forget the green—Monday wasn't about shamrocks, it was about navy, white, and grey as North American University rolled out the red carpet for our newly crowned USCAA Women's Basketball National Champions!
The Lady Stallions returned from Buffalo, New York, not just as winners—but as Champions—etched in history with a Golden Cup in hand! And if you blinked, you missed a parade unlike any other.
Leading the charge, Keasia Robinson was named the Tournament MVP, putting her stamp on the biggest stage. Elisa Peralta, Victoria Moore, and Maurdaisha Powell were recognized as Tournament Players, showing the nation what Stallion Basketball is all about! But wait—there's more!
We didn't just bring home one trophy. Oh no—we snatched the Hot Shots Trophy too! Thanks to Maurdaisha Powell and Aliyah Solis, the Stallions owned the moment and left no doubt.
And just when you thought the accolades stopped—think again! Peralta, Moore, and Powell all earned All-American honors, with Powell also earning a Freshman of the Year nomination.
Coach Apande has spent the entire season calling on faculty and staff to rally behind Athletics, and on this day, that call was answered LOUDLY. Professors, adjuncts, advisors, staff, parents—even the local clinic patrons—everyone showed up in force to celebrate the queens of the court.
A massive shoutout to our dedicated faculty and staff for making this celebration truly special. And an even bigger THANK YOU from Coaches Davis, Apande, Doze, and White for believing in this team!
