STAFFORD, Texas – North American University women's basketball closed the night in winning fashion on Thursday, January 29, earning an 85–76 victory over UNT Dallas inside The Stable and completing a strong doubleheader performance for the Stallions program.
The game featured multiple momentum swings, with three ties and five lead changes, but North American's composure and physical play proved decisive. After UNT Dallas edged ahead at halftime, 45–39, the Lady Stallions flipped the script in the second half, outscoring the Trailblazers 46–31, including a commanding 26–19 fourth quarter to secure the win.
North American finished the game shooting 42.7 percent from the field and an efficient 44.4 percent from three-point range, while controlling the paint and the glass. The Lady Stallions held a 46–36 rebounding advantage, scored 44 points in the paint, and capitalized on second chances with 30 second-chance points. Ball movement was also a key factor, as North American recorded 24 assists while limiting turnovers to just 14.
