Senior Night Explosion

Stallions Run Past Texas College 97–76

Explosion!

Written By Rev. Justin C. Jackson

Stafford, TX — When it's Senior Night in The Stable and your rival pulls up to the address, there are only two options:

Get sentimental.
Or get surgical.

The Stallions chose surgical.

Inside Stafford MSN Gym, North American University delivered a high-powered, senior-led performance to defeat arch rival Texas College 97–76 in front of a packed and energized home crowd.

This wasn't just offense.

This was execution with emotion under control.

First Half – Controlled Firepower

North American opened the night with pace and pressure, taking a 43–35 lead into halftime. The Stallions shared the basketball, attacked the paint, and forced tempo.

Texas College shot a respectable 42.9%, but North American made sure every basket came with resistance.

This wasn't backyard ball.

This was system basketball.

Second Half – Break the Game Open

Then came the separation.

The Stallions dropped 54 second-half points and put the rivalry out of reach. The ball movement was crisp. The decision-making was mature. The defense converted into transition opportunities.

When you finish with:

  • 97 points

  • 30 assists

  • 48 rebounds

  • Just 8 turnovers

You're not surviving a rivalry game.

You're dominating it.

North American shot 45.7% from the field and knocked down 14 three-pointers, stretching the defense and attacking inside.

Senior Leadership on Full Display

Senior Night demands presence. The Stallion seniors delivered.

Tevin Gowens (#0) orchestrated the show with 14 points, 10 assists, and 5 steals. That's command. That's floor leadership.

Jamarric Hammond (#24) was a force — 18 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists. Double-double. Paint control. Veteran poise.

Jayden Jackson (#23) added 18 points and 5 assists, knocking down four three-pointers with confidence.

Joseph Cormier (#13) dominated the glass with 13 rebounds and added 10 points.

Aaderius Blanks (#12) chipped in 9 points and 4 boards, while Bersil Cox (#8) contributed 7 points and three steals.

And off the bench, Ethan Rodela (#4) gave the crowd a spark with 7 points in efficient minutes.

This was depth.
This was chemistry.
This was a senior class setting the tone.
