Tevin Game Day USCAA

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The lights were bright inside the Flickinger Center, and the North American University Stallions responded like a team built for the moment.

With poise, toughness, and an offensive explosion in the second half, NAU defeated Bloomfield College 98–88 Thursday night in the **United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Men's Basketball National Semifinal.

The win sends the Stallions to the USCAA National Championship Game, putting them just one victory away from bringing a national title back to Houston.

A Semifinal Worth the Stage

Bloomfield entered the game as one of the top teams in the field, and the matchup delivered exactly what a national semifinal should.

The Stallions edged ahead 43–41 at halftime, trading runs and momentum with the Bears in a tightly contested first half.

Then NAU shifted gears.

In the second half, the Stallions unleashed 55 points, attacking the paint, hitting timely threes, and living at the free-throw line to close the door on Bloomfield.

When the final horn sounded, the scoreboard told the story:

North American University 98
Bloomfield 88

And with it, the Stallions advanced to the biggest game in program history.

Stallions Who Led the Charge

The Stallions delivered a balanced offensive attack with four players scoring in double figures.

Jamarric Hammond – The All-American Performance

The USCAA First Team All-American showed exactly why he earned that recognition.

  • 27 points

  • 10 rebounds

  • 8 assists

  • Perfect 6-for-6 from three-point range

Hammond controlled the game from start to finish, orchestrating the offense while delivering clutch shots when NAU needed them most.

Naheim Northern – Dominance Inside

Northern brought physicality and efficiency in the paint.

  • 23 points

  • 5 rebounds

  • 9-for-13 shooting

His presence inside gave NAU a constant scoring option throughout the night.

Joseph Cormier – Veteran Production

Cormier filled the stat sheet with another strong postseason performance.

  • 19 points

  • 7 rebounds

  • 2 three-pointers

His ability to stretch the floor created spacing that opened up the Stallion offense.

Key Contributions

As a team, NAU shot:

  • 46% from the field

  • 45.5% from three-point range (10–22)

  • 88% from the free-throw line (30–34)

Those numbers reflect a disciplined offense operating at championship level.

Defensive Effort and Composure

Bloomfield pushed hard behind strong performances from Devin Artis and Cameron McRae, but the Stallions controlled the glass and limited key runs down the stretch.

NAU finished with:

  • 39 rebounds

  • 17 assists

  • 6 steals

Even with the physical nature of the game — including several technical fouls issued to Bloomfield — the Stallions stayed composed and focused on execution.

Championship teams don't panic.

They execute.

Championship Bound

With the victory, North American University advances to the USCAA Division I National Championship Game in Buffalo.

The Stallions entered the tournament as the #4 seed and have now defeated multiple top programs on their path to the final.

One game remains.

One opportunity.

One chance to finish the story.

The Stallions are 40 minutes from a national championship.

And if Thursday night was any indication…

North American University is ready for the moment.
