Track & Field continues to build momentum as the Stallions push deeper into the outdoor season. Coming off a historic championship run from Men's Basketball, North American University Track & Field is making its own statement with strong performances, rising confidence, and steady progress at the right time of year.
At the Cactus Cup Invitational in Kingsville, Texas, the Stallions delivered a complete team effort highlighted by personal records, school records, first-time event competitors stepping up for points, and athletes answering the call wherever needed.
With championship season approaching, every race, jump, and finish carries added importance—and North American is embracing the moment.
STALLIONS DELIVER ACROSS THE BOARD

Kegwon Palm turned in a historic performance for the Stallions. Palm recorded personal records in every event he entered while setting new school records in both the 110-meter hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles. He also added a personal-best 10.92 in the 100-meter dash, showing elite speed and versatility.

Jayden Jackson produced one of the most valuable performances of the meet. Jackson posted personal records in every event he entered and later stepped into the men's 4x400 relay lineup when injuries impacted the team. His willingness to compete wherever needed reflects the selfless culture of the program.

Ethan Rodela continued his strong season in the field events with a personal-best 6.40m in the long jump while also clearing 1.81m in the high jump. His multi-event impact continues to strengthen the Stallions lineup.

Elina Gonzalez delivered one of the most important moments of the day. Competing in the long jump for the first time in her collegiate career, Gonzalez recorded a 4.47m mark to score valuable team points and help the Stallions in their push toward USCAA qualifying standards. She also added a 29.67 performance in the 200-meter dash.

Laila Williams continued to show her versatility with strong performances in hurdles, sprints, and the triple jump. Her ability to contribute in multiple events gives the Stallions valuable depth on the women's side.

Freshman Tyler Johns led the distance group with determination, clocking 18:54.02 in the 5000-meter run and returning with a 5:13.75 finish in the 1500-meter run.

Aaderius Blanks added key middle-distance contributions in the 400-meter run and 800-meter run while also helping strengthen the relay pool.

Uros Bekcic provided sprint depth for North American with efforts in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.

Nicholas Matchett added experience and production in the 200-meter dash, 400-meter run, and relay events as the Stallions continued to show complete team depth.
