STAFFORD, Texas — The North American University Stallions continue to build for the future as the Track & Field program welcomes Christopher Taylor, a talented multi-event athlete from Red Mountain High School in Mesa, Arizona, to the Stallion Family.

Taylor, who specializes in the long jump, high jump, and hurdles, joins NAU after being recruited by Coach Apande and the North American University Track & Field coaching staff, who identified his athletic ability and potential to make an impact at the collegiate level.

A versatile athlete with experience across multiple events, Taylor brings the combination of explosiveness, speed, and competitiveness that fits the vision of the Stallions' growing Track & Field program. During his high school career at Red Mountain, Taylor developed as one of Arizona's emerging track talents while also showcasing his athletic ability as a multi-sport competitor.

His experience in the long jump, where he recorded a personal best of 21 feet, 9.75 inches, highlights the type of athletic ability that can translate into immediate contributions at the collegiate level.

For Coach Apande and the Track & Field staff, adding athletes like Taylor represents the continued growth of a program focused on developing student-athletes from across the country and bringing together a team capable of competing at a high level.

From Mesa, Arizona, to Stafford, Texas, Taylor is ready to begin the next chapter of his athletic journey wearing the Blue and Silver.
