Coach E.J. Valentine is in the Forth season of coaching for North American University in the roll of Defensive Coordinator, Defensive Line Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. 

Prior to his great experience here at North American University, Valentine was the Defensive Coordinator, Defensive Line Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator at Hastings College for five years.  During that time he has coached one first team All-GPAC Students, Mutiple First and Second team All-GPAC Students and four All-GPAC Students.

Prior to is time at Hastings College, Coach Valentine spent two years as the Defensive Coordinator at the famous HBCU Texas College in Tyler, Texas where he Coach five Central States Football League All-Conference performers.  He is currently the Camp Director of The Houston Nike Football Camp.

Bacone College was Coach E.J.'s stomping ground for four seasons in which he served as the Coach of the Defensive Coordinator, Defensive Line, Strength and Conditioning Coach.  Where he was successful in sending multiple student athletes to the NFL, CFL and helped influence several college coaches across the nation. 

Before the red clay of Oklahoma Coach Valentine was the Defensive Line, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Defensive Coordinator for Westminster College from 2008-2010.

He also coached the defensive line for six years from 2002-2008 at Ruskin H.S., Northeast H.S., Paseo H.S. and Warrensburg H.S. 

Valentine first played for Kemper Military Junior College in 1997 where the team finished 10-2 and was ranked seventh in th NJCAA.  Then went on to play and start at University of Missouri.  Later on Valentine played for Henderson State in 1999 and Central Missouri State from 2000-2001.   At CMSU, the team went 10-2 which was the most wins in school history and earned a birth to the Mineral Water Bowl and winning the game over Minnesota-Deluth 48-17.

Coach Valentine, a Houston, TX native, also went on to play arena football professionally from 2002-2005. He is also a member of the American Football Coaches Association(AFCA), and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.
