Erik Thompson is a licensed athletic trainer who is currently the head athletic trainer at North American University. Erik started his education at Tyler Jr. College and received his bachelors of science degree in athletic training from Kansas State University. Before arriving at NAU Erik worked in different settings throughout his athletic training career. Those spots included being an orthotic fitter for a Durable Medical Equipment company called Adapthealth, Contract/Outreach for Memorial Hermann, and St. Luke’s Hospital, Full time athletic trainer at Houston ISD, and Cy-Fair ISD. He even worked as a summer intern for the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, and Rice University. Erik is will be completing his masters degree in Sport Management at Houston Christian University.
