Bryan Doze enters his finishes his third season as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at North American University after leading one of the fastest program turnarounds in school history. Taking over a program that finished 2–15 prior to his arrival, Doze guided NAU to a historic 22–8 season and the program’s first-ever USCAA National Championship in 2026 while setting the school record for most wins in a single season. Under his leadership, the program has produced seven RRAC Players of the Week, three USCAA Players of the Week, four NAIA RRAC All-Conference selections, two All-Americans, three Champions of Character honorees, two 1,000-point scorers, and multiple academic award recipients. NAU has also recorded wins over three NAIA RRAC National Tournament programs during his tenure.

Before joining North American University, Coach Doze was the assistant mens basketball Coach at Florida College where he finished his last year with a historic season of 27-6, ranked #14 in the country with three top 25 wins over ranked opponents and reached the 2nd round of the NAIA National Tournament for the second consecutive season. He also achieved a program high of #10 in the country for the NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll and held the second longest home game winning streak in NAIA with 24 straight wins.

In his second season at FC, Doze helped the Falcons achieve a record-breaking season. The Falcons were Continental Athletic Conference Champions, finished with a 31-4 record, and reached the second round of the NAIA National Tournament. The Falcons were 14-0 at home.

In his first season in Tampa, Doze helped improve the Falcon's win percentage from .433 the year prior, to .538. The Falcons ranked 5th in the country in assists per game (minimum 12 games played) and 3rd in three-pointers made per game.

Prior to coming to Florida College, Doze was a graduate assistant for Florida State University under Coach Leonard Hamilton. During his second season, Doze helped FSU win their first regular-season ACC title. His last season with FSU was cut short during the ACC tournament because of COVID-19, but since FSU was the number one seed, they won the ACC tournament by decision.

During his first year as a graduate assistant, Doze was part of FSU’s school-record 29 wins. 13 of the 29 wins were ACC wins, which was a program record. He also was part of FSU’s March Madness run, helping them reach the sweet 16 for the second consecutive season.

Prior to attending Florida State University, Doze attended Southeast Missouri State University where he obtained his undergraduate degree in sports management and minor in business while being a manager for the woman’s basketball team under coach Rekha Patterson.
