The opening day of the North American University Men's Basketball team's home season was quite an exciting game, which became a Houston Hard Wood Classic. Bronson Evans of the College of Biblical Studies had an outstanding performance, leading all scorers with 20 points, while Jay Washington contributed with 11 points and 10 assists. Additionally, Reese Jordan, coming off the bench, also had an impressive 10 assists.
On the North American University side, Jalon Clark and Sean Fry played a significant role in keeping the game close. Clark scored 17 points, and Fry added 9 points. However, turnovers seemed to be a challenge for the Stallions, which might have impacted their chances of winning.
Despite the outcome, it's clear that the players and the entire campus community appreciate the hard work and effort put in by the Stallions. The winter weather report suggests that a win may be on the horizon, so faculty, fans, fun seekers and supporters are encouraged to stay tuned for the next game on November 6th, when the Stallions face the Lumberjacks at Stephen F. Austin. Good luck to the team in their upcoming games and remember GOOOOO STALLIONS!!!
