In a nail-biting clash, the Lady Stallions demonstrated their mettle and team spirit, securing a hard-earned triumph against Our Lady of the Lake University. With this impressive win, the Lady Stallions now boast a 7-6 overall record, standing at an admirable 4-2 in conference play. The game, which kept spectators on the edge of their seats, highlighted the resilience and cohesive play that define the Lady Stallions' basketball prowess.

Right from the opening tip-off, both teams engaged in an intense battle, showcasing their determination to secure a pivotal victory. The Lady Stallions displayed exceptional teamwork, seamlessly balancing offensive and defensive efforts. The players' strategic plays and chemistry were evident as they navigated the challenges posed by their skilled opponents.

Notable performances included Victoria Moore, who led the Lady Stallions with an impressive stat line of 25 points, 4 assists, and 4 steals, showcasing her offensive and defensive prowess. Elisa Peralta contributed 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 steals, while Kayla Dickey's tenacity was evident in her 9 crucial rebounds from the guard position.

OLLU's standout player, Tiffany Lopez, demonstrated her All-Conference caliber with a double-double, amassing 24 points and 18 rebounds, along with 2 blocks. Despite Cormia Lewis adding 11 points and 6 assists, OLLU's 23 turnovers proved insurmountable. The Saints Head Coach Tanya Ray said, "We had too many lapses on defense, and we were careless with the ball on offense. We must do a better job of protecting the ball and valuing every offensive possession." 

The Lady Stallions intensified their offense in the second half, outscoring OLLU 39 to 30. NAU hit all four of their three-point attempts in the third quarter and forced five turnovers by the Saints in the final quarter.  The team's impeccable three-point shooting in the third quarter and their defensive prowess in forcing turnovers sealed the victory.

The Lady Stallions' triumph solidifies their standing in the conference, underlining their growth and development as a dominant force in women's college basketball.
