Lady Stallions Battle, But Fall Short on Senior Day

Final Score: Texas A&M Texarkana 65, North American 56
February 22, 2025 – Stafford, TX

The Lady Stallions of North American University left it all on the hardwood in their final home game of the regular season, but a slow start proved too much to overcome as Texas A&M Texarkana claimed a 65-56 victory.

Game Recap:

The visiting Eagles came out firing, building a commanding 20-8 lead in the first quarter. While NAU matched Texarkana point-for-point in the second, the third quarter saw the Eagles stretch their lead once again, outscoring the Lady Stallions 22-10. However, North American wasn't about to go quietly into the night. The Stallions galloped back with a dominant 20-5 fourth-quarter run, but the early deficit proved too much to erase.

Coach's Corner:

The Lady Stallions showed resilience in their comeback bid, dominating the fourth quarter, but the early gap was too much to overcome.
