North American University Men's Track & Field Recap
Written By: Coach Jackson
From the starter's pistol to the final lean at the line, the Stallions are off and running—and folks, they're gaining ground fast.
At the latest meet, Esean Elphage clocked an 11.46 in the 100m dash, placing 44th out of 63, with Trevon Atchison just ahead at 50th out of 60 with an 11.43. In the 200m, Sakievon Gordwin posted a solid 24.28 for 50th out of 73, while Atchison doubled up with a 25.71 finish for 52nd. These sprints were no walk in the park—but our Stallions showed up, stood tall, and gained experience that will pay dividends in championship season.

This is where we stand so far—and believe me when I say, we're not just showing up to the USCAA National Meet. We may walk away with a few medals and a potential team placement overall.
In field events, Jesse Adams jumped 5.97m to earn 21st in Long Jump, while Palm added to his resume with a 5.86m leap (23rd), and Lance Kellum landed at 5.43m (30th). In the discus, Kellum threw 25.58m, taking 25th out of 29.
The 4x400m relay squad closed the day with grit and guts, placing 10th out of 13 with a time of 4:07.07. The baton was passed not just in hand, but in heart.
This team has made huge strides—dropping times, gaining confidence, and staying locked in on the mission. A special shoutout to Keqwon Palm, who competed in three events and still brought the fire in each. That's the kind of athlete we build here at NAU. To see all of the meet results click here. #live.athletic.net  To see the USCAA Rankings Click here.  #USCAA TRACK
Track & Field is all about timing—not just on the clock, but in the season's flow. You don't want to peak too early, and this team is building at the right pace. With each meet, each rep, and each stride, our Stallions are setting themselves up for a strong finish and even greater success ahead.
We invite the North American University community, alumni, and friends to join us in this journey. Check in with the students and Coaches to see how you can donate to the donation calendar.   NAU is a small, nonprofit university, and your support helps us keep these athletes on the road, fueled, and ready to compete.
Get those hooves up and Go Stallions!
