NAU MEN'S TRACK & FIELD LEAVES ITS MARK AT 2025 USCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Springfield, MA — With fierce determination and outstanding performances, the North American University Men's Track & Field team made a powerful statement at the 2025 USCAA National Championships.

Across sprints, hurdles, jumps, and relays, the Stallions demonstrated why they are one of the emerging programs to watch on the national stage.


INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES:

Jesse Adams (Senior) led the charge, earning multiple national honors:

  • 100m Dash: 1st place finish at 11.41 seconds, earning First Team All-American honors.

  • 200m Dash: 3rd place finish with 23.68 seconds, securing Honorable Mention All-American honors.

  • Adams also competed in the Long Jump, finishing 10th with a jump of 5.27 meters (17-03.50).

  • National All-Academic Team: Jesse Adams was honored for his academic excellence, exemplifying the true spirit of the student-athlete.

Keqwon Palm (Junior) continued his strong season:

  • 110m Hurdles: 2nd place, running 15.80 seconds, earning Second Team All-American honors.

  • 100m Dash: 2nd place with a time of 11.47 seconds, contributing vital points.

  • Palm also ran the 400m hurdles, finishing 8th at 1:06.92.

Esean Elphage (Freshman) held strong in his first nationals:

  • 100m Dash: 5th place finish at 11.90 seconds.

Lance Kellum (Junior) contributed both on the track and in the field:

  • Discus Throw: 7th place with a mark of 31.98 meters (104-11 feet).

  • Long Jump: Unfortunately fouled but played a critical role in relays.

Sakievon Gordwin and Trevon Atchison added important depth and strength, helping the Stallions remain competitive in the 4x400m relay, where NAU finished with a time of 4:02.16.


  
RELAY RESULTS:

  • Men's 4x100m Relay: The team of Jesse Adams, Lance Kellum, Esean Elphage, and Keqwon Palm sprinted to a 3rd place finish, clocking 44.54 seconds and earning Honorable Mention All-American honors.

  • Men's 4x400m Relay: NAU finished 9th overall with a time of 4:02.16.
