Bulldogs Sent Back To The Dawg House
Stafford, Texas — Thursday night inside The Stable wasn't for the faint of heart. Jarvis Christian came to fight, to test the Stallions, and for 40 minutes this one had pace, physicality, and pressure written all over it.
North American (16–9, 13–8) built a strong first-half lead, going into the break up 47–35 behind smart ball movement, sharpshooting, and high-energy defense. The Stallions shot 47.1% for the game, knocked down nine threes, and shared the ball beautifully, racking up 27 assists as a team.
But Jarvis Christian didn't quit. The Bulldogs poured in 41 second-half points and cut the lead down to the wire. The Stallions had to dig in, execute under pressure, and protect home ground. And that's exactly what they did.
Key Moments
Late in the second half, with the Stallions clinging to a slim lead, Senior Jayden Jackson made sure this game had a signature. With North American needing just one point to separate themselves, Jackson rose from deep, drilled a three, absorbed contact, and completed the and-one. That wasn't just a basket — that was a Stallion kicking the gate off the hinges. Bulldogs learned the hard way: you don't move a Stallion on his own floor. He moves you.
Who Set The Tone
Jamarric "Pony" Hammond dominated everywhere: 20 points, 11 rebounds, 12 assists. A triple-double on Senior Week. He controlled tempo, made the right reads, and led by example.

Kemani Wilson added 17 points, including two key threes to slow Bulldog momentum. Joseph Cormier contributed 8 points and 9 rebounds while locking down the defensive glass. Oakley Lewis came off the bench with 8 points and big energy, sparking runs when the game got tight.
This wasn't a one-man show. North American's team game shined: ball movement, smart shooting, and zero technicals kept them composed, even under fire.
Up Next – Senior Day. The Final Ride
Saturday isn't just another game. It's Senior Day — the last home game of the year.
We honor:
Tevin Gowens, Joseph Cormier, Aaderius Blanks, Jamarric Hammond, Jayden Jackson, Ethan Rodela – Graduate Student, Bersil Cox.
For Ethan Rodela and Aaderius Blanks, it's been a full college journey — climbing the ranks, growing into leaders, and leaving a mark on NAU basketball.
These seniors gave four to six years of their lives — time, tuition, sweat, and belief. This Saturday, we give them our time, our voices, and our energy. Be in The Stable.
When a Stallion breaks from the gate on his home floor, he digs in. He protects the corral. He runs you out of the pasture.
Up Next – Arch Rival Texas College
It's Rodeo Time in The Stable.
The arch rival Texas College comes to town for the I-69 Shootout.
This has the feel of a Texas legend. But don't get it twisted. This isn't the O.K. Corral.
This is The Stable.
The Stallions aren't here for drama — they're here to rope the Steers, secure the win, and put it up in the Stable for safe keeping before tournament time.
Senior Day. Last home game. Conference positioning. Everything matters.
Pack The Stable. Bring the noise. Stand behind the seniors.
Hooves Up.
Gooo Stallionssss.
