Red River All Conference Awards
Momentum is not accidental — it is built possession by possession, practice by practice, standard by standard.
North American University men's basketball didn't just compete in the RRAC this season they imposed their identity. Tough on the glass. Efficient from the field. Disciplined in late-game situations. Now the conference has recognized that work, honoring multiple Stallions for a season defined by production and purpose.
This was a statement year.
First Team All-RRAC
Jamarric Hammond (#24)
6'2" • Senior • Guard • Orlando, Florida
When you lead from the front, awards follow.
Hammond started all 24 games and logged a team-high 803 minutes. He led the Stallions with 350 points, shooting 44.6% from the field and 84.7% from the free-throw line.
His complete stat line tells the real story:
He controlled tempo, created offense, and closed games. First Team honors reflect consistency and command — and Hammond delivered both.
Second Team All-RRAC
Naheim Northern (#45)
6'7" • Junior • Forward • Kansas City, Missouri
Production in the paint wins games.
Northern averaged strong interior efficiency, scoring 230 points while shooting 48.9% from the field. He was a physical presence on both ends:
Rim protection, rebounding, interior scoring — that's a forward who anchors a defense and gives guards confidence to pressure the ball.
Honorable Mention All-RRAC
Joseph Cormier (#13)
6'5" • Senior • Guard/Forward • Houston, Texas
Cormier put together one of the most complete seasons on the roster.
He started 23 games and played 712 minutes, giving the Stallions scoring punch and length on the perimeter. Honorable Mention reflects a steady two-way impact across the season.
All-Champions of Character Team
Tevin Gowens (#0)
Leadership isn't always measured in points — but Gowens produced there too.
In eight starts at point guard, he scored 43 points, dished 42 assists, and maintained a 2.8 assist-to-turnover ratio. He also added 21 steals.
Being named to the All-Champions of Character Team represents accountability, discipline, and leadership beyond the stat sheet. That matters in March.
