Lady Stallions Shine Bright in Conference

NAU Earns Major RRAC Women’s Basketball Honors

All Red River Athletic Conference Awards

The hardware is rolling in — and it's well deserved.

The North American University Lady Stallions made their presence felt across the Red River Athletic Conference, earning multiple postseason honors that speak to consistency, leadership, and elite-level production.

This wasn't hype. This was performance.

First Team All-RRAC

Savannah Velazquez
5'6" • Senior • Guard • Richmond, Texas

When the lights were on, she delivered.

Savannah Velazquez led the Stallions with 284 points, shooting an efficient 47.8% from the field. She logged 638 minutes, started 18 games, and impacted every phase of the game:

  • 111 rebounds

  • 84 assists

  • 69 steals

  • 1.5 assist-to-turnover ratio

That's not just scoring — that's control.

She was the engine. When NAU needed a bucket, a stop, or a steady hand, Velazquez answered. First Team isn't given — it's earned.

Second Team All-RRAC & All-Champions of Character Team

Aliyah Solis
5'6" • Senior • Guard • Richmond, Texas

Let's talk efficiency and leadership.

Aliyah Solis scored 267 points, but here's the separator:
She shot 45.2% from three-point range (52-of-115).

That changes scouting reports.

She added:

  • 87 assists (team leader)

  • 45 steals

  • 71 rebounds

  • 1.5 assist-to-turnover ratio

On top of that, she earned All-Champions of Character honors — recognizing leadership, integrity, and impact beyond the box score.

High production. High standards.

Honorable Mention All-RRAC

Jerkayla Dickey
5'6" • Junior • Guard • Madisonville, Texas

Dickey played 717 minutes and filled up the stat sheet:

  • 275 points

  • 42.2% shooting

  • 43.9% from three

  • 120 rebounds

  • 68 assists

  • 52 steals

That's two-way basketball.

She attacked offensively and defended with intent. Honorable Mention reflects a season built on consistency and toughness.

By The Numbers: Team Growth

 Freshman of the Year

The Lady Stallions finished the season shooting:

  • 41.0% from the field

  • 36.4% from three

  • 1,599 total points scored

  • +119 scoring margin over opponents

This was structure. This was chemistry. This was senior guard leadership setting the tone.

Velazquez. Solis. Dickey.

Three guards. Three tone-setters. Three reasons this program continues to rise.
