Postseason recognition doesn't come easy — it's earned through long days, tougher nights, and performances that refuse to be ignored. This year, North American University Athletics saw that work pay off in a major way, as Stallion student-athletes across women's soccer, men's soccer, and cross country earned USCAA national honors, cementing NAU's growing presence on the national stage.
WOMEN'S SOCCER: A STATEMENT SEASON
NAU Women's Soccer led the charge with a strong showing on the USCAA All-American teams, highlighted by Genevieve Colon, who was named a Division I First Team All-American. Colon's consistency, leadership, and competitive edge set the standard for the program throughout the season.

MEN'S SOCCER: NATIONAL RESPECT BETWEEN THE POSTS
On the men's side, Gino Burioni carried the Stallion banner onto the national stage. The NAU goalkeeper was named a USCAA Second Team All-American, recognizing his standout season anchoring the defense.

Burioni's impact extended beyond the pitch, as he was also selected to the USCAA National All-Academic Team, exemplifying the true definition of a student-athlete and setting a strong example for the program's future.
CROSS COUNTRY: A FRESHMAN MAKES HIS MARK
In cross country, freshman Tyler John made an immediate impression in his debut season, earning USCAA National Athlete of the Week honors. His early success signals a strong foundation for NAU's distance program and underscores the momentum building across Stallion Athletics.
