NAU Lady Stallions Fly at the 2025 War Hawk Classic

The Lady Stallions took to the track this past weekend at the 2025 War Hawk Classic, and let's say—they didn't just show up, they showed out. In what's becoming a tradition of excellence, the women's track team elevates their performance each meet, adding new events, dropping times, and making their presence known across the USCAA.

Let's start with the standout of the meet—Alayah Gore. Whether she's sprinting the curve in the 200m, stretching it out in the 400m, or soaring through the air in the long jump, Gore is proving she's one of the elite. She clocked a season-best 25.11 in the 200m, placing 6th out of 40. She then stepped into a new challenge, the 400m, and came away with a 1:00.60 time, good enough for 5th out of 25 competitors. To cap it off, she jumped 4.57 meters in the long jump, launching herself into the USCAA Top 10.

Niya Lewis continues to show promise and toughness, competing in both sprints and shaving down her times. Elina Gonzalez, though under the weather, ran a determined 800m race, proving that heart and hustle matter just as much as results.

This squad isn't just showing up to compete—they're building a foundation. With each stride, jump, and throw, they're adding notches in the hat and bars on the shoulders. The best part? They're just getting started.
