LIVE FROM SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS: NAU TRACK AND FIELD MAKES HISTORY AT 2025 USCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Springfield, MA — The Lady Stallions of North American University made their mark at the 2025 USCAA National Championships in Springfield, Massachusetts. Competing against the nation's best, these young women showcased determination, grit, and undeniable talent in every event they entered.
INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES:
Alayah Gore (Freshman) emerged as a standout performer, becoming a three-time All-American over the weekend:

100m Dash: 2nd place, clocking 12.75 seconds, earning Second Team All-American honors.

200m Dash: 1st place finish with a stellar time of 26.51 seconds, capturing First Team All-American honors.

400m Dash: 2nd place finish with a time of 1:03.91, securing another Second Team All-American recognition.

In the Long Jump, Gore placed 9th overall, recording a leap of 4.04 meters (13-03.25).
Elina Gonzalez (Freshman) competed fiercely in the 800m Run, posting a time of 2:50.56, demonstrating tremendous effort and heart on the national stage.
Niya Lewis (Sophomore) represented the Stallions in the 200m Dash, clocking a time of 30.97 seconds in her heat and gaining valuable championship experience.
Chloe Hensley (Sophomore) competed in the Women's Discus Throw, but fouled during the finals. Nevertheless, Hensley showed great promise and fought hard against a tough field.
