LEWISTON, IDAHO – From the Red River Athletic Conference to all of collegiate baseball, LSU Shreveport has just kicked the doors off the history books.

An undefeated season that will echo through the ages.

The Pilots of LSU Shreveport, fueled by championship grit and offensive firepower, closed out a perfect season with a 13-7 win over Southeastern (Fla.), capturing the 2025 NAIA Baseball National Championship in front of a locked-in crowd at Harris Field.

And let's give a major Stallion salute to LSUS SID Jessieca Carr, recently named Assistant AD for Communications. Like our very own Mr. Alan Wiederhold, Jessieca represents everything right about athletic communications — professionalism, passion, and precision. Another SWAC SID legend who has made the move to the RRAC.

From Cobe Reeves dealing on the mound to the back-to-back bombs by Syring and Montz in the title game, the Pilots owned every pitch, every inning, and every moment. A first-ever national title for LSUS... and what a way to earn it.

To our RRAC brothers in Shreveport: you did that.
